Summary

A space display is a screen or tablet placed at a space, for example outside a meeting room. The Space Displays screen in the RAY admin portal links each display to its space. The list shows each display’s Name, Space and Code, with Edit and Delete. A space’s displays are also shown in the Space Display column of Bookings → Spaces.

Who can access Space Displays

Space Displays is shown only to users with an Admin role that includes the space displays feature.

How to add a space display

  1. Open Bookings → Space Displays.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Enter the Name and choose the Space.
  4. Follow the steps shown in the dialog for that space:
    • For a shared space with designated spots: install or open the RAY Room Display app on the device.
    • For a dedicated space: open the web address shown in the dialog on the device.
  5. Enter the Display Code shown on the device’s screen.
  6. Click Save.
  7. On the device, Validate the space to complete the setup.
For shared spaces with random spots, the dialog does not ask for a Display Code.

Where do I find the display code?

The Display Code is shown on the device’s screen after you open the RAY Room Display app or the space display web address on it.

How do I move a display to another room?

Edit the display in Bookings → Space Displays and choose the new Space.
