Summary

The Shops screen in the RAY admin portal lists the organization’s shops, such as a restaurant, café or minimarket where users order through the app. Admins add shops and switch them on or off here. The shop’s menu, information and orders are managed by the shop’s staff from the shop’s own menu in the portal; see Shop menu and orders.

  • Menu: Community → Shops (Arabic: المجتمع ← المتاجر)

Who can access Shops

The Shops screen is shown only to users with an Admin role that includes the shops feature.

Shops list columns

The shop’s image, Name, and Status (Activated or Deactivated; click it to Activate or Deactivate the shop).

How to add a shop

  1. Open Community → Shops and click Add.
  2. Enter the Name.
  3. Click Save.
The shop’s details, menu and opening hours are then filled in from the shop’s own menu (Menu & Info). To let staff run the shop, give them an Operator role that includes the shop’s feature; see Roles & Permissions.

How do I close a shop temporarily?

Click the shop’s Status and choose Deactivate.

Why can’t I see a shop’s orders from the Shops screen?

Orders are handled in the shop’s own menu, which is shown to users with an Operator role for that shop. See Shop menu and orders.
